2009 Lou Wolf Memorial Scholarship

Goals and Objectives

The Lou Wolf Memorial Scholarship is designed to help students further their undergraduate or graduate studies in motion pictures and television, with an emphasis on technology.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

1. Full-time students enrolled in an accredited high school, 2- or 4-year college or university
2. Current members of SMPTE. SMPTE Student membership is available for $35 per year. Join Now

Amount of Scholarship

The amount of the scholarship will be up to $2,000.
Each award will be paid to the accredited educational institution the scholarship winner is attending. In addition, the award includes full conference registration to the 2009 SMPTE Technical Conference and Exhibition in Hollywood, CA. Scholarship winners will be recognized at the Honors and Awards Ceremony during the Conference.

Your contributions will help worthy students to continue their education and become the SMPTE Members of the future.
